The first overseas location of Tokyo’s celebrated WAGYUMAFIA, WAGYUMAFIA Hong Kong opened its doors in 2018 to bring a distinctive dining experience focused on one of Japan’s most coveted ingredients – pedigreed Wagyu beef.
WAGYUMAFIA was founded by self-taught chef-turned-Wagyu experts Hisato Hamada and entrepreneur Takafumi Horie. Originally in the beef export business, the brand was created following a series of private dinner pop-ups around the theme of Wagyu.
Seating 18 persons at an interactive chef’s counter, Wagyumafia Hong Kong is also a full-service bar offering bespoke cocktail and wine pairings.
Our omakase menus include WAGYUMAFIA cult favourites as well as Hong Kong-exclusive signature dishes. Each elaborate course features authentic Wagyu beef sourced directly from the best farmers, expertly prepared using unconventional techniques and cutting-edge butchery methods that minimize wastage. Extra dishes can be added to your menu as you make a reservation.
